A key passage of Scripture for TIBM is in Acts 17: “And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us.” (v. 26-27) In other words, God decided when and where everyone would live in order for people to draw near to Him. This is great news!
When we consider that the number of Muslims in our county grew by 300% from 200o to 2010 to number around 60,000 Muslims, we are excited to see God at work. Our most important response is to ask His blessings upon our Muslim neighbors.
Next week, from October 8-12, TIBM along with other followers of Christ will be praying using A Guide to Prayer for the Muslims of DuPage County. We invite you to join us.
Praise God for giving us the opportunity to demonstrate love to the Muslims of DuPage County. Praise God that many followers of Christ in our area are seeking God’s blessings for Muslims. Please pray that we would be faithful to show love by prayer and by actions. Pray that Muslims will understand our prayers to be an expression of our love. Pray that God will answer these humble prayers by giving more Muslims deep, abiding peace with Him. Pray that God will also bring greater reconciliation between followers of Christ and Muslims in our community.
