“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thess. 5:16-18
Thanksgiving is almost here. As we teach and disciple others, we are using the holiday to remind people to thank God. For instance, at ESL this Thursday, we will share through different Psalms how we can thank God in all circumstances and for many, many things. We will also ask students to share what they are thankful for.
Please pray that we will have thankful hearts especially during this season. Pray that we will be good examples of grateful people to those we teach and disciple. Pray that those who thank the Lord will be shown the way of salvation.
Some TIBM-ers will be travelling to see family for Thanksgiving. Please pray for their safe journeys and pleasant times with others. Some will also be sharing about their ministries with friends and churches; please pray that they will clearly express what the Lord is doing and that the Lord will raise up more partners.
Please pray for the TIBM-ers who will not be seeing family to be able to connect with their families in other ways and to enjoy the fellowship of friends and God’s family in Chicagoland. Please also pray for things to go smoothly in covering the responsibilities of those who are gone.
Please also thank God for answering our prayers! You can see prayer requests on the blog which have been specifically answered by going to “Pray by topic” on the right and choosing “Answered.” Praise God for hearing our prayers!
Thanks so much for praying with us!
